Night Stand Revamp

This cute little night stand was begging for some attention.

The top had a few scratches, but otherwise was in great shape. I love the clean lines of this piece.

First, I started by quickly sanding over it with a sanding block to rough it up. Then a applied one coat of primer for shiny surfaces with a foam roller.

Then I painted three coats of black Glidden paint, again with a foam roller.

To finish the piece, I added a design to the top drawer. I had made this stencil a while back and didn't end up using it but today I got the chance to put it to use. I used a gold paint pen and carefully filled in the outline of the stencil.

Then I reattached the handles (they are brass and so cool I couldn't replace them). I think its super cute! I hope someone will love it at the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market!
