Fall Tablescape

We live in the desert, so when the seasons start to change in the rest of the country and everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather.....we all (try to) wait patiently for it to start to feel like fall here. I usually try to wait to start decorating for autumn until the middle of September. This year for fall, I decided to go with a slightly different color scheme than the traditional red, orange, gold and brown. I'm using white, light green, gold and cream.

I started by placing these tan, linen placements down at each place setting. I got these at HomeGoods a couple of years ago and they seem to have something very similar each year.

Then I placed the white dinnerware, we got these as a wedding gift 9 years ago from JCPenny. I've looked online since to try to get more as some of our have broken and I keep seem to find them. But any white plate will work!

The cream linen napkins are from Crate and Barrel. They carry them all year round and are so beautiful! I use them for Christmas too. Neutral is very versatile.

I placed a different pumpkin at each seat. These are from the dollar stop at Target! (Win! They are $3 each) I could have gotten six of the same pumpkin, but I thought mixing them would be more interesting.

I added some tall cream candlesticks in vintage brass candleholders. I got these at an estate sale this summer. I can't overstate how much I love to shop at estate sales or vintage shops! You can find one-of-a-kind pieces at reasonable prices.

The flower arrangement is made up of mostly greenery and a few purple wild flowers. What colors are you decorating with this fall?

Do you like these non-traditional colors? Here's a peak at our mantel too....
