Thanksgiving Tablescape

This morning I did my grocery shopping for Thanksgiving, and along my travels to various stores I came across the most beautiful fresh garland from Trader Joes. It inspired me to create my Thanksgiving Tablescape.

First, I placed a deep green linen table runner down the middle of the table. Then I weaved the fresh garland on top. I wanted to use my brass candlestick holders to add some height.

Next, I added additional candles, some miniature white pumpkins, golden leafs and a glass of cranberries for a pop of red.

For the chargers, I set some round wooden chargers that I bought last Christmas from the dollar stop at Target. Our white dinnerware is next and for the napkins I chose these cream, linen napkins from Crate and Barrel with a golden napkin ring from Sur La Table.

I love the contrast of the deep, rich green against our white table. The wood of the chargers adds a nice warm tone as well as the brass of the candlestick holders and napkin rings.

I can't wait to sit around this table and enjoy a delicious meal with friends, family and people I love.

Happy Thanksgiving!
